- Welcome!
- Devonshire
is a small kennel located in Centralia,
Washington. We are dedicated to preserving
the wonderful English type, temperament
and versatility that is the hallmark of the
Labrador Retriever. We
compete primarily in the AKC conformation ring
along with some AKC obedience and Breed Club
working certificate hunt tests. Our dogs
have gone as family companions, Guide Dogs,
Therapy Dogs and Canine Companions for
Independence.
-
- We
feel blessed to have this wonderful Labrador
breed in our lives that has brought us so much
joy. More
than show dogs or hunting companions our
Labradors are a part of our family. We
will always be indebted to our first Labradors
for giving us a true appreciation for this
incredible breed,
- "The
pure bred Labrador Retriever".
-
- We
have a couple of litters a year. We
believe that a Labrador can have it
"all", good temperament, good health,
beauty and English type. We breed for the
whole dog. All of the dogs we breed have
hip/elbow & eye clearances. We also
think it is very important that our dogs make
wonderful family companions so all of puppies
are raised from birth in our home to become a
part of our family.
-
-
- Pictured
above are our the three ladies who helped create
Devonshire Labradors.
- They
are our foundation and they gave us so much to
be thankful for. You can also see them on
our retired page.
The dogs you will see on this site
are their children, grandchildren and great
grandchildren
