I thought you might like an update of Devonsires Royal Remington (Remi). As you may recall, it was my goal to use Remi has a therapy dog and as you can see from the attachments - he passed his Delta Society test with flying colors in May. The evaluators could not believe that he was so level headed, calm, and obedient for just being a year. While he is not winning any blue ribbons, the joy and smiles that he brings to the patients is a much greater reward.

I could not have asked for a better disposition for the work he has to do. He is kind and gentle and loves to be petted. Remi will be working in the back to school days at both of our clinics, with children who are fearful of getting shots. They will get a paw print stamp on their hand and their picture taken with Remi. I am also working with the Prosecuting Attorney in our county to have Remi as a Copmfort Keeper during forensic interviewing with children who have been abused. So you can see.. he really is a working dog. Thought you might like to know what he has been up to. Aside for that, he gets a 2 mile walk every day and loves to hike in the Mountains. I can't tell you how many mountain trails he has been on. His favorite time is in the Spring when he can still play in the snow....

What the future holds...
Lynn is a licensed mental health counselor. When Remi turns 2 years old she would like to take him through the HOPE training for disaster relief. We wish them all the best!
